Gloriously ludicrous and stridently melodramatic, F9 is fuelled by its own goofy energy, delivering comically grandiose chase sequences and shameless fan service all in the name of giving audiences an uncomplicated good time. Over the years, the Fast And Furious films have transformed from modest car-centric action flicks into full-blown supersized spy thrillers that could compete with Mission: Impossible, never losing their sense of humour along the way. And director Justin Lin, taking the reins for the first time since 2013’s Fast & Furious 6, handily balances the agonisingly sombre proclamations about family with the outlandish action set pieces, although this latest instalment suffers from the inevitable diminishing returns inherent when a franchise constantly tries to top itself. After months of postponed event films, F9 should be a welcome sight for both viewers and exhibitors. Opening May 19 in South Korea and May 21 in China, this Universal release unspools in US theatres on June 25, landing in the UK a few weeks later. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, who got their own spinoff film with 2019’s Hobbs & Shaw, aren’t part of F9, but franchise regulars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, among others, are joined by newcomer John Cena, who plays the crew’s latest nemesis.
Dom (Diesel) and Letty (Rodriguez) are trying to lead a quiet life with his young son Little Brian when they’re once again tasked with saving the world. Alongside team members Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Tej (Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges) and Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel), they must track down a dangerous weapons programme known as Project Aries before it falls into the wrong hands. But to Dom’s surprise, this means he’ll be squaring off against Jakob (Cena), his estranged brother, an assassin working for some nefarious individuals.
To criticise the Fast And Furious pictures for being preposterous is probably foolish: if anything, the recent sequels have happily embraced Dom & his crew’s logic-defying antics. (In fact, F9 includes a self-mocking joke in which Roman marvels at the increasingly daunting vehicles and vessels they’ve battled, including that hulking submarine in The Fate Of The Furious.) Lin, who cowrote the screenplay, has no intention of slowing things down now, laughing in the face of physics and common sense as cars swing through the air as if they were Spider-Man or zoom through a landmine-strewn field so fast that the detonators can’t go off in time.

I loved Fast 9. Its really well written with a great back story of Dom growing up, and ties a lot of things together which also shows what happened between Dom and his brother Don't listen to the bad reviews, this movie has everything, tons of action, great story and lots of laughs along the way, check out Ramsey driving for the first time in a big truck through the streets of Edinburgh. It's 2 and a half hours of pure escapism. Sure there's some over the top action that's just not believable but who cares, it's great fun and I had a blast watching it

I am not the biggest fan of the fast and furious franchise but I did watch all 8 before watching this F9. I thought it was a decent experience, at times there will be serious scenes but they come off as either stupid or hilarious bad. This film for me at least was kinda confusing but thats up to you to decide. The acting was mostly good. The story was I guess good but odd choice but whatever. There are some good funny moments.overall it was a fun experience I would say its either the first or second worst in the series but that is probably just me lol. I watched this on IMAX theatre to also experience the Jurassic world dominion 5 min teaser and it was so damn awesome probably more enjoyable than the entire fast and furious 9 film. I prefer not watching F9 in theaters but its still worth a watch if you want to rent it or if it goes on streaming service like Netflix in the next couple years. I am rating F9 a 6.5/10.

F9 is latest part of fast and furious franchise. It has awesome car chase to stop villainous program "Ares" and has good space scenes. I enjoyed every bit of action scenes. Also the the brotherhood between torreto brothers is worth watching. Hence i would recommend to watch at least once.

In the old days, meaning before the first installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise in 2001, one of the measures of a good car was its ability to hold the road. Now the ninth installment is upon us—“F9: The Fast Saga”—and cars in it not only leave the road and fly, which they did in “Furious 7,” but a battered old Pontiac Fiero strapped to a rocket slips the surly bonds of Earth and goes into orbit. The whole series has been about slipping bonds (the rules of the road, the laws of polite society, the stuffy dictates of physics, gravity and logic); severing connections (between cause and effect), or blurring distinctions (between good and bad entertainment). The films are critic-proof, of course, and mockery-proof in the bargain. “F9” makes a mockery of itself before anyone else can—it’s a gleefully shoddy goof on a pseudo-epic scale.

F9 the fast saga is an 2021 action and adventure movie and it is back and better than ever.you have to see this movie to beleive it . The fast and furious series is getting awesome with every movie every new character they add to it. And this time it none othan John Cena himself as an thief and an assassin. And unlike the other time Don team take their action packed adventure to stop him. The actions scenes are just wow.If you are watching fast and furious series and it's without cars it can't happen. I will rate it 4.5/5 . The sound was amazing , car scenes and other graphics were also good. Must watch this movie.
